The Delaware Grays dedicated an addition to the Confederate Veterans Monument in a ceremony held at the Marvel Carriage Museum in Georgetown April 30.
The names of 16 veterans and 15 citizens who assisted the confederate soldiers were added to the 71 names of Delaware Confederate Army Veterans Monument.
Hours of research from historical censuses, the National Archives and old Muster rolls confirmed the individuals on the monument were from Delaware.
