Ming, Herring Point, The Naval Jetty, Battery, Cape Henlopen Light, whatever you call it, it’s one of the best places on our coast. A high point which once was home to the Cape Henlopen Light. It’s one of the spiritual places I go for a boost. I’m connected to it for reasons I can’t explain officially. Except that my 3x great grandpa was a light keeper for the Hooper Straight Light, and I went here after every great loss in my life and it seemed to bring me to center. I guess the only explanation is it’s home.
