Vance and Phyllis Parker to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 18

Lewes residents Vance and Phyllis Parker will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Friday, Nov. 18.  Married Nov. 18, 1956, in New York, they raised four children, and have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. After they retired, they moved from Massachusetts and settled in Lewes. For their 50th anniversary, they renewed their vows and held a party at Just in Thyme restaurant. Vance Parker is the current president of the Covey Creek Homeowners Association, and Phyllis Parker is very active at Lutheran Church of Our Savior.
