Sponsors sought for SUPs for Pups event

Delmarva Board Sport Adventures, the area's original and leading paddleboard adventure company, announces its third annual SUPs for Pups event with sponsor proceeds and donations benefitting the Delaware SPCA. The event is free to the public and it’s only $5 to paddle. It will take place at Milton Memorial Park Saturday, June 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; rain date is June 17.

Dog lovers and people who love to paddleboard or would like to try paddleboarding are encouraged to attend. DBSA will provide attendees with all the gear and equipment, encouraging them to SUP with their pup! This is a great way to try something new, support the pups at the Delaware SPCA and shop with local vendors all in one place. Pup attendance is not required to SUP at this event. The SPCA will have dogs available for petting and adoption.

Organizers are seeking pet-loving partners who would like to set up a booth at the event - booth registration proceeds go directly to the SPCA. Elect to set up a booth as a Gold Bone Sponsor for $150 or Silver Bone for $75. There are currently one Gold Bone and three Silver Bone sponsorships remaining.

If vendors would like to sell their products on site, there is a Town of Milton fee of $35 for a peddler's license, which must be obtained prior to the event. Volunteers are also needed to help with the event; no need to know how to SUP to volunteer. There are positions on land, but those who do paddleboard can help on the water.
