Griswold Home Care celebrates 35 years

April 20, 2017

On April 26, 1982, the first Griswold Home Care office opened, fulfilling founder Jean Griswold's goal of providing care that would keep seniors and those recovering from injury in the place they love most - their homes.

In the 35 years since, Griswold Home Care's thousands of caregivers, including my 200 employees in the Sussex and Kent counties area, have seen to the daily needs and comfort of hundreds of thousands of clients across the country.

My Griswold office has been operating since 2003, and as Griswold Home Care marks its 35th anniversary, I'd like to thank all our caregivers who selflessly endeavor to improve the lives of our clients, making them feel connected, independent and, above all, dignified. We are honored to work with such amazing, dedicated individuals. Sadly, Jean Griswold passed away earlier this year at age 86, but we endeavor to honor her vision in action every day.
