St. Peter’s Summer Spirituality Series set Thursdays starting June 1

May 21, 2017

Seekers of spiritual topics and a respite from the bustle of summer will find a haven in the popular Summer Spirituality Series at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Lewes, again this year for the 10th season. Presentations are held at 7 p.m., Thursdays, beginning June 1, and will continue through Aug. 31. All presentations are held in the church parish hall, 211 Mulberry St. There will be no program Thursday, June 29, when the nominees for the next bishop of the Diocese of Delaware visit St. Peter's to meet with Episcopalians from Lewes, Milton and Rehoboth.

The Rev. Jeffrey Ross, rector of St. Peter's, says all in the community are welcome to attend these presentations designed to encourage reflection and dialogue. This year's series will include sessions on stewardship of the environment, church history, interfaith dialogue, and physical and spiritual health and well-being.

Each hour-long presentation is followed by a brief question-and-answer session, and social time with ice cream and conversation. New this season is the addition of children's programming on the evenings of June 8 and 22, July 13 and 27, and Aug. 10 and 24.
