The Lewes-Rehoboth 8-10 team’s Brady Kosc batted for the cycle, going 5-for-5, hitting an inside-the-park home run, a triple, two doubles and a single, in his team’s 21-3 win over Woodbridge June 27 at Milton Little League complex. He was credited with nine RBIs in the game, which was held up after the top of the first with a 1 1/2 hour rain delay.

“The game was a lot closer than the scored indicated,” said Lewes-Rehoboth manager Steve Kosc. “Woodbridge just ran out of pitching, and we scored a lot of runs off walks in the top of the sixth. Woodbridge is a class act. They have a good team.”

Lewes-Rehoboth first baseman Patrick Donahue went 4-for-6 with a double, three singles and knocked in four runs.

Trent Kaufman pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out seven Woodbridge batters while walking four. He helped himself at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double, single and two walks.

Lewes-Rehoboth moved on to play Laurel Thursday, June 29, in Georgetown.
