Camp Arrowhead seeks feedback Sept. 17

September 13, 2017

Camp Arrowhead, located on Rehoboth Bay near Lewes, is preparing to upgrade its facilities, and a capital campaign to raise funds is under consideration. Feedback is being sought from parents of campers, counselors, camp alumni and Episcopalians in the Diocese of Delaware, which owns and operates the camp.

A meeting is set at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17, at Camp Arrowhead. Guests are invited to see the newly released summer camp video and consider plans for much-needed major improvements. A discussion will take place about the camp's importance to children and families in Delaware and beyond. Attendees can provide feedback and propose new steps as the camp attempts to respond to the challenges of increasing attendance. More than 1,000 children attended this summer's 10-week camping season, in addition to family camping over the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.

Participants will be invited to discuss proposed major capital projects, as well as other improvements that may be suggested, and to consider how Camp Arrowhead can meet the larger community's needs.

Those who plan to attend are asked to register at www.camparrowhead.net/input-session-registration.html so adequate accommodations can be planned.
