Seth Allen Parker, loved skateboarding

Seth Allen Parker, 20, of Elk Mills, Md., formerly of Georgetown, passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.

Seth was born in Lewes Aug. 9, 1991.  He was the son of Robert Parker and his stepmother Jacqueline of Elk Mills and Angela Humphries and his stepfather Glenn of Glen Rock, Pa.

He loved skateboarding, sports and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.  He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand.  He loved the military and was very proud of his father for being a retired staff sergeant in the Delaware Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by two brothers, Travis Parker and Braeden Bauman, both of Glen Rock; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Gloria Knopp of Glen Rock; and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Peggy Parker of Georgetown; four great-grandparents, Catherine Knopp, Edna Wood and Virginia Hitchens Davis and husband Jim; aunt, Lori Parker of Georgetown; and numerous cousins, and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Millsboro Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro.
