Avery Grace Hudson, little princess

December 11, 2018

Our little princess, turtle, unicorn, peanut and bird, Avery Grace Hudson, left this earth too soon Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.

Avery was born at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes Sept. 25, 2018, into the arms of her loving parents Chris and Kaylee Hudson. In her 2 short months with us she brought smiles and instant love to everyone she met. She could roll over, talk to us in her own cute little way, and smiled at everybody who talked to her. Daddy’s best memory with her is watching burnout videos right before bedtime each night. Mommy’s favorite memory was taking her to visit family and friends. Her little pink blanket elephant was never too far away to cuddle at night along with at least one fuzzy blanket.

She is preceded in death by paternal great-grandmother Nancy Hudson; maternal great-grandparents James and LaVerne Ruhl; paternal great-great-grandparents Lester and Rilla Seyler; and maternal great-great-great-grandparents George Edwin and Catherine Brewington.

She is survived by maternal grandparents, Jessica and Anthony Baker of Harbeson, and  Jason Ruhl of Millsboro; paternal grandparents, Laura Elliott of Georgetown and Paul Hudson of Millsboro; maternal great-grandparents, Dawn and John Hudson of Millsboro; paternal great-grandparents, Diane and Tom Elliott of Millsboro, and Charles C. Hudson Jr. of Millsboro; maternal great-great-grandparents, Dave and Peggy Rossington of Millsboro, Josephine and Fred Adams of Dagsboro, and Gene and Judy Hudson of Millsboro.  Avery also held a special place in the hearts of her many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at Wilson United Methodist Church, 10722 Bishopville Road, Bishopville, Md.

Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com.
