Beaverdam Pet Food cut the ribbon at its Distribution Center on April 12 in Greenwood.
Beaverdam Pet Food is owned and operated by Eli Truman Schrock and his family. Schrock launched Beaverdam in 2003 after retiring from Furst McNess Company, where he worked with animal nutrition, feeds and supplements.
Beaverdam is a private-label company focusing on keeping costs down and quality high. Schrock began with three basic lines of dog food and two cat food recipes.
