Organ Recitals at the Beach to start June 20
The 11th annual Summer Organ Recital Series at All Saints' Episcopal Church begins with featured recitalist Julie Vidrick Evans at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, June 20, following the 11:30 a.m. healing service.
Evans serves as director of music for the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church in Chevy Chase, Md., and enjoys a busy schedule as church musician and performer.
She holds degrees from James Madison University and Catholic University of America, and has concertized extensively in such locations as the Kennedy Center, Washington National Cathedral, Princeton University, and Trinity Church Wall Street, New York, as well as throughout Europe.
The Summer Organ Recital series continues Thursdays through the summer, June 27; July 11, 18 and 25; and Aug. 1 and 8, all at 12:15 p.m. following the 11:30 a.m. healing service.
All Saints' Church is located at 18 Olive Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. The church parking lot is near the southeast corner of Olive Avenue and First Street. There is no charge for admission, though a free will offering will be collected to support the music ministry of the parish.
