Duffield Associates welcomes Matthew Van Rensler

Duffield Associates announced that Matthew Van Rensler, PE, MBA, has rejoined the firm as geotechnical division director.

In this role, Van Rensler will manage multidisciplinary projects including geotechnical evaluations and analysis, foundation and earth-retaining structure design, and construction review. Van Rensler served as a geotechnical project manager with Duffield from 2003-10 and returns to use his extensive experience and client-focused vision to serve Duffield’s existing clients and grow the firm’s geotechnical practice.

Van Rensler holds a master of business administration degree from Goldey-Beacom College, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Drexel University. He is a member of the Delaware Valley Geo-Institute, the Delaware Contractors Association and the ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. 

Duffield provides consulting in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, environmental services, water and natural resources, water and wastewater engineering, coastal/waterfront engineering, structural engineering, and construction review and testing services.
