Fundraiser for Darin McMahon takes over Wheelhouse

The Wheelhouse presented the inaugural Battle of the Food Trucks Nov. 16 to benefit Darin McMahon of Activ Pest Solutions, who was injured in a recent accident. Cold and blustery weather didn’t deter hundreds of supporters enjoying live music, including The Jimmys, Scrapple, Sam Seider and Jody Lynn Cohee; a kids play zone, and silent auction. The Food Truck Battle was the highlight. Food trucks included Zogg’s Sea Hogg, Taco Reho, Truck It, Big Salami, Street Kitchen and Fat Vinny’s, while guest bartenders poured libations from Dogfish Head, Smirnoff Crush and Sposato Wines. Grass Roots Rescue volunteers and adoptable dogs were in attendance.
