Give money to people who need it, not UD bureaucracy

December 10, 2020

We have people in this state that cannot pay their mortgage or rent to put a roof over their heads. We have thousands of people in this state that do no have enough food to eat and are are going hungry.

Yet our governor thinks giving millions of dollars to the University of Delaware is a good idea. Not!

Before the University of Delaware got  a penny they would have to open their books and expose the private side of their funding and endowment. This is something UD has never done!

They would also have to submit a plan on how the University of Delaware was going to work with the state of Delaware to improve  the educational system in Delaware before they received any funds.

Delaware already gives millions of dollars each budget year and the university admits fewer and fewer in-state Delaware students.

Give the money to people who need it, not the UD bureaucracy.
