Lefty’s best grandparents competition entries due Sept. 5

National Grandparents Day is Sunday, Sept. 12.

The day is dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the important contribution made by grandparents to the well-being and education of children within their families.

The month of September was chosen to symbolize the autumn season of life. It also coincides with the start of school, giving children the perfect opportunity to interview their grandparents for school reports.

In honor of National Grandparents Day, Lefty’s Alley & Eats will be conducting the World’s Best Grandparent Contest, where kids ages 12 and under can submit their funny, happy or heartwarming stories for a chance to win a $500 game card.

Kids are welcome to submit their entry anytime at tinyurl.com/ilovegrandparents through the deadline of Sunday, Sept. 5.
