Varied jewelry classes to start at Heidi Lowe Gallery Sept. 14

Heidi Lowe Gallery will offer a variety of jewelry-making classes this fall. 

Participants in the 2.5-hour classes set for 1:30 to 4 p.m., Tuesdays, will learn how to create a finished piece of silver jewelry from start to finish in one class.

Date, class topic and cost are: Sept. 14, Stackable Rings, $130; Sept. 21, Mantra Cuff Bracelet, $145; Sept. 28, Beach Glass Pendant, $130; Oct. 5, Rings of Intention, $120; Oct. 12, Layered Nature Pendant, $135; Oct. 19, Stackable Rings, $130; and Oct. 26, Mantra Cuff Bracelet, $145. Cost above includes materials. No experience is required. Registration closes the Saturday before the class date.

Introduction to Jewelry Making: Chain Making, Toggle Clasps and a Layered Cut-out Pendant will take place over eight sessions from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Thursdays, Sept. 23 to Nov. 11. Cost of $750 includes some materials for making samples. No experience is required. Registration closes Saturday, Sept. 18. While making class projects, students will learn the fundamentals of working with metal and designing pieces, develop skills, and begin to hone in on their own artistic voices.

Studio instructors also teach private classes for groups of 4-6 adults or kids. It's a fun way to celebrate a birthday, bond with family, and learn something new with friends. To request more information, email hello@heidilowegallery.com.
