Milton Chamber of Commerce held its annual Bargains on the Broadkill Aug. 28, which brought local artisans to set up shop in Milton Memorial Park and sell their wares.
The event also included a kayak race and the Great Duck Race, in which patrons entered their rubber ducks to be dropped into the Broadkill River and float to the finish line first.
But the big draw is the vendors, who sold handmade art, crafts and jewelry. Among the vendors were Peter and Nancy O’Brien of Georgetown, shown above, whose business is selling artwork made from discarded wood. The O’Briens’ items can also be found at The Mercantile in downtown Milton.
