Early visitor to the Milton Garden Tour
This morning I went to explore Aurelio Grisanty and Walter Gagliano’s serene space where my mom and I will be displaying her jewelry and my art as part of the Milton Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19.
I was not the only visitor getting a sneak peek - a beautiful butterfly fluttered about while I decided where we should set up next weekend. I like to pretend that my third photo is from the eye of that butterfly, rather than me standing on the peaceful porch where Ann Gillian will be playing music during the tour. Fellow artist Liz Micelli will also be at our location.
Six gorgeous gardens and several other artists, crafters and musicians will be featured at the Milton Garden Tour. A plant sale and bake sale will also benefit the Milton Garden Club, whose members work hard to keep their town planted so prettily. Don’t miss getting advance tickets for only $15 at Peppers Nursery, Salon Milton, Hillside Florist in Milton or Lewes Printing in Lewes. Day-of-tour tickets are $20, which can be purchased at the booth outside the Milton Historical Society at 210 Union St. Go to themiltongardenclub.org for more information.

I don't have a green thumb, but that makes me appreciate stalking other people's gardens with my camera even more. I am, however, trying to grow an online flower photo portfolio on Fine Art America.
