Toy donations pile up at Town of Dewey Beach
Residents, employees participate in Cape Henlopen School District Community Caring Event

Brightly wrapped Christmas presents have overtaken the office of Dewey Beach Town Clerk Ashleigh Sander for the seventh year in a row, as town employees and residents participated once again in the Cape Henlopen School District’s Community Caring Event 2021.
The annual drive provides gifts to local children and grocery gift cards to families. Participants signed up to sponsor every child and family listed on the town website, which detailed the child’s age, clothing size, favorite color and wish list.
