Beacon soccer completes successful season
The Beacon soccer team recently completed a successful 2022 season. With an 8-0 win over district rival Mariner May 18, the Beacon girls’ soccer team completed a successful 9-2 spring season.
The Vikings’ only two losses were to Selbyville (8-1-1) and Smyrna (8-0-1). The Beacon team with coaches Chip Wilt and Chris Downer outscored opponents 54-7 this season, including seven shutouts.
