The Sussex County Republican Committee has added more events and program details for its inaugural Delaware Freedom Festival set for Friday, Oct. 7, at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach, and Saturday, Oct. 8, at Hudson Fields near Milton.

The inaugural gathering will offer Delawareans from all three counties the opportunity to celebrate America and its exceptional constitutional freedoms.

The event will kick off at 6 p.m., Friday, with a banquet at the Rusty Rudder. The keynote speaker will be Stephen Moore, senior economic advisor to former President Donald Trump. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet John Paul Mac Isaac, the Wilmington computer repair shop owner given Hunter Biden’s damaged laptop.

At Hudson Fields, participants can take in police K-9 demonstrations, a petting zoo and pony rides, a free photo booth, speakers, food trucks, beverages, car and motorcycle rallies and more from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday. Masters of ceremonies are Dan Gaffney and Rick Jensen. Music will be provided by Joy Lynn, Sweetwater Band and tribute performer Mike Long.

The Saturday event will also feature both national and locally known speakers. These include an encore performance by Stephen Moore, former Georgia Congressman Doug Collins, Lt. Col. Oliver North, Abraxas Hudson, Jeff Hague of Delaware State Sportsmen's Association, Nandi Randolph of the Delaware Family Policy Council, the Rev. John Betts, and Larry Mayo of the Institute on the Constitution.

To cap festivities on Saturday, event organizers have announced an exclusive cocktail party hosting Lt. Col. Oliver North from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Rusty Rudder. Tickets for the cocktail party are $50 and include heavy hors d'oeuvres and a book autographed book by North.
