VIA holds fashion show at Baywood

September 30, 2022

The Village Improvement Association held its annual Fashion Show Sept. 22 at The Clubhouse at Baywood. This year’s theme of Travel in Style featured fashions courtesy of the Crazy Ladyz, a women's clothing store in Ocean View and Ocean City, Md.

A Crazy Ladyz boutique was provided outside the ballroom where attendees could purchase the fashions worn by the models during the event. A portion of the sales were donated to the VIA.

Models included Carolyn Billingsley, Kathy Cannatelli, Charlotte Duffy, Carol Hall, Barbara Kreger, Nancy McDonnell, JoAnn Reynolds, Diane Rico, Beth Thompson and Sherry Wilson.

Escorts included Cape Gazette owner Chris Rausch, Rehoboth Art League Exhibitions Director Nick Serratore and Keller Williams Realtor Michael Zacherl.

Jan Patterson, owner of Crazy Ladyz, kept the show interesting as she showed different ways to wear fashions during breaks in the show. Models walked among the tables so attendees could examine the outfits closely and touch the materials.

Proceeds from the event will allow the VIA to continue its charitable contributions in Rehoboth Beach and the surrounding community.
