Cape High JROTC cadets volunteer at Applebees on Veterans Day
On Veterans Day, 26 Cape High JROTC cadets, who had just participated in local veterans ceremonies earlier in the day, volunteered at Applebees in Rehoboth Beach to greet, host, bus and wait on those who served our country.
Veterans received a free meal on Veterans Day, and every year, the Cape High Army JROTC cadets assist restaurant staff. Cadets helped with table setups, seating patrons, serving meals and busing tables from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Everyone involved had an overall great time, both cadets and veterans.
Those participating include Jazmine Ramos-Trejo, Lucas Santni, Gianna Decker, Liam Drevno, Rylee Tipton, Brent Dieterle, Mara Lobley, Mikayla Kall, Ninfa Cantu, Annemarie Rodriguez-Arevalo, Aidan Cox, Bryan Ramirez-Mantano, Diego Reyna, Isaac League, Christian Fuscellaro, William Busick, Emmanuel Majjul, Madison Layfield, Cianna Steer, Jayden Taylor, Ignacio Marin and Carlos Vivero.
