Downtown Blues holds ribbon cutting in Rehoboth Beach

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce joined the Downtown Blues team June 28 for a ribbon cutting to celebrate its opening in Rehoboth Beach.

The first Bethany Blues opened in 2003 in Bethany Beach, with a second location in Lewes following six years later in 2009. Coming 20 years after the original restaurant opened in Bethany Beach, Downtown Blues is open in Rehoboth Beach, occupying the historic building that once housed the iconic Nicola Pizza. From the freshest seafood to the most mouthwatering barbecue, coupled with countless single-barrel, private select bourbons, this location builds on the momentum of the Blues reputation, bringing its award-winning cuisine and hospitality to another Delaware beach location.

Downtown Blues is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, as well as carryout and delivery starting at 11:30 a.m. This new location isn’t just barbecue, as Executive Chef Juan Hernandez has diversified the menu to include options for all palates.
