Whitford family to hold annual Patriot Day Service Sept. 11 near Lewes

The Whitford family invites the public to their annual 9/11 Patriot Day Service, set for 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11, at the home of Roger and Carol Whitford, 17181 Minos Conaway Road, Lewes, rain or shine. The service is held near the Lewes 9/11 Memorial the family has built to always remember those who perished on that tragic day.
The event will include tours of the memorial, guest speakers, Fire Department of New York members, and Delaware State Police Pipes and Drums. The public is also invited to visit the memorial at any time throughout the year. All are welcome.
