Revelation cuts ribbon on Georgetown brewery
Revelation Craft Brewing Company officially cut the ribbon on its long-anticipated new brewery in Georgetown Sept. 7, as state and local officials looked on.
Co-owner Kyle Shaffer officially cut the ribbon as confetti and bubbles filled the air. The first day was a huge success for the brewery, with a packed house of people mostly sitting outside underneath a pavilion.
Revelation purchased the former 16 Mile brewery on South Bedford Street in late 2018 and has spent the time since completely renovating the facility, putting in a new brewhouse and bar, and paving the driveway around the building. The brewery opened its flagship location in Rehoboth Beach in 2016 and also has a seasonal location at Hudson Fields.
