Once again, I've had to find a new pharmacy. In the eight years I've lived here, this will be No. 4.
Let me say that in all those years, I've lived in the Long Neck area. First, I went to Walgreens, as that was the pharmacy I used before I lived here. I switched to Sussex Pharmacy, an independent store. Service was great! Then the insurance companies decided they didn't want to deal with independent stores, so they put Sussex Pharmacy (and others) out of business.
We were all thrown over to Rite-Aid. It took about a month before the lines weren't 15 people deep, and I saw they were trying their best. Now all the Rite-Aids are closing, and we are getting dumped to Giant. Seems strange, since Walgreens bought Rite-Aid several years back. So where does that leave us? Not one pharmacy in Long Neck when there were three. What's going on? This area has had a huge population increase, so it can't be a lack of customers. I surely hope someone else comes down here. In the meantime, I'm switching to Walmart.
