Ellendale man faces drug charges
An Ellendale man faces felony drug charges July 12 after an investigation into illegal narcotics distribution from a Milford home.
Members of the Kent County Drug Unit, Kent County Governor’s Task Force and Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Valley Drive in Milford and found about 177.50 grams of fentanyl, about 944.91 grams of cocaine, digital scales and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Inside, police said, Garron Wescott, 41, and a Milford woman, 31, were arrested in connection with distributing illegal narcotics from the residence.
Wescott was taken to Troop 3 and charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, tier 3; two counts possession of a controlled substance, tier 3; possession of drug paraphernalia; three counts endangering the welfare of a child by committing a drug offense with child in the dwelling; and third-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $129,500 cash bond.
