Men, teen charged in Rehoboth Beach road rage incident

Two men and a teen, all from New Castle, face charges in connection with a June 20 road rage incident near the Rehoboth Avenue traffic circle.
Police had responded to the traffic circle area about 11 p.m. and contacted a man, 62, who had been injured in an assault. The man was flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said, but he has since been released.
Police said the confrontation was the result of a road rage incident, and they were able to identify the vehicle involved and its occupants. Police arrested Robert Octavio, 50, Santino White, 21, and a 16-year-old.
They were all charged with felony second-degree conspiracy and disorderly conduct. White and the teen also face first-degree assault charges. Octavio was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in default of $2,500 bond, White was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $62,000 bond and the teen was committed to Ferris School in default of $25,100 bond.
