Read Aloud brings Pete the Cat to Milton Elementary

Milton Elementary kindergarten and first-grade students welcomed Read Aloud Delaware Oct. 17 for a special story-time visit featuring the beloved character Pete the Cat.

Students laughed and sang along during a reading of “Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons,” a fun and engaging story that follows Pete as he navigates a series of silly challenges with his buttons. They also participated in interactive activities that encouraged discussion, movement and a deeper connection to the characters and events in the book.

The visit not only brought joy and excitement to the classroom, but also highlighted the importance of early literacy and the fun of reading aloud. It was a memorable experience that left students smiling, engaged and inspired to continue exploring the wonderful world of books.
