November 19, 2025

A new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 9 and Nassau Commons Boulevard west of Lewes is set to go online Friday, Nov. 21.

The light has been in the works for a long time, and comes after a section of Nassau Commons Boulevard was reconstructed to allow for further construction of the Vineyards development.

Nassau Commons Boulevard serves as one of two entrances to Redner’s Farm Fresh and the other businesses in the Vineyards community along Route 9. The road is also used as a cut through for many motorists driving between Route 1 to Route 9.
