Read Aloud brings Pete the Cat to Sussex Academy

Sussex Academy kindergarteners welcomed Pete the Cat as a special guest Nov. 21.
The star of the popular children’s books visited Sussex Academy thanks to Read Aloud Delaware. Pete mingled with students while Read Aloud Delaware volunteer PJ Kotowski read the Eric Litwin book, “Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons.”
Students were able to high-five or fist-bump the beloved character at the end of the session.
Sussex Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school in Georgetown.
