Dean Jonee and Laurie McBrierty of Milton took the Cape Gazette to the other hemisphere in March 2025 while sailing around southern Australia. They spent four days in Sydney and brought the newspaper to the Sydney Opera House for a performance of “La Traviata.” While in the city, they also enjoyed time with Laurie’s niece, Gina, and her husband Jim Griffith of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Philadelphia, Pa.
