Ella L. Dennis, beloved mother, grandmother

Ella L. Dennis, 88, of Seaford, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Born in Salem, Va., daughter of Earline Hartman and Archie Raymond Wickham, she was an only child. Raised in Salem, Va., she has previously lived in Georgetown, Largo, Fla., and Mifflintown, Pa., before settling in Seaford.

Ella enjoyed working with people. She owned and operated a Native American gift shop in Mifflintown, Pa., and while living in Florida, she ran her own housekeeping and cleaning business. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Royal Farms in Seaford.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, shopping and cooking.

In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Forrest Eugene Dennis, who passed away Dec. 12, 2024; her son, Raymond Goins; her grandson, Kenneth Willey; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Fisher.

Ella is survived by her sons, William, husband of Susan Goins, and James Goins; her daughter, Loretta, wife of Michael Fisher; her stepson. Doug, husband of Shirley Drewes; her nine grandchildren; her 21 great grandchildren.

Services are private and held at the convenience of the family per Ella's final wishes.
