Local club to mark International Women’s Day with two fundraisers

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club will celebrate International Women’s Day Sunday, March 8, and invites the community to participate in two fundraising activities.

A Dine to Donate event will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Bethany Blues, 18385 Coastal Highway, Lewes, and a Work Out to Donate session will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., at Sea Barre Fitness, 34410 Tenley Court, Lewes.

International Women's Day is a global event celebrated for more than a century to honor women’s social, economic and cultural achievements. It also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. 

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club, founded in 1905, is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose members are public-spirited women serving and improving their community. Learn more at gfwcZwaanendael.org.
