DAR to host Pocketbook and Prize Bingo fundraiser April 25
The Col. David Hall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Pocketbook and Prize Bingo event Saturday, April 25, at American Legion Post 17, 113 American Legion Road, Lewes.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m., with the first bingo game starting at 5 p.m. One bingo packet includes 10 opportunities to win a new designer pocketbook or themed basket brimming with items.
Additional packets may be purchased the day of the event. Attendees may reserve a table of eight for family and friends. Smashmouth Burger and Luv Thai food trucks will be present, and there will be a cash bar. A 50/50 drawing and a lottery apron will be offered.
This event will help raise funds for an archaeological excavation of the DAR canalfront property and needed repairs to the historic circa 1739 Maull House. The DAR is a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
