Race4Warriors receives donation from local Elks lodge

Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 near Lewes recently made a $2,000 contribution to Race4Warriors, a local nonprofit that honors veterans who have served in the Middle East through competition, education and celebration.

Each May, the organization orchestrates a well-attended running event, and throughout the year, it provides support to wounded warriors, homeless veterans, the local JROTC and more. The organization consists of retired military men and women who are all volunteers; none receive any compensation for their service.
