Michaela Eley Whaley, 55, of Lewes passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, after a long illness. Born in Milford Feb. 18, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Linwood Sr. and Emma Perry Eley.
She graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1976.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Whaley; daughters, Pa’Tka and Michaela Eley; sons Ityre and Jonathan Eley; eight grandchildren; five brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at noon, Monday, Sept. 10, at St. John’s 2nd Baptist Church in Mt. Joy, where friends may call between 10 a.m. and noon. Pastor Leonard Eley will officiate. Interment is private.
