CrossFit Lewes wins Delaware Affiliate Cup

CrossFit Lewes not only hosted a Delaware CrossFit Affiliate Challenge in its gym Oct. 20, but captured the overall title as well. Competitors from CrossFits Lewes, Rehoboth, Dover, Seaford, Riverfront and First State divided into Scale and RX divisions, as well as same-sex and coed teams.

The two-person teams competed in various grueling exercises for set time limits, trying to complete as many reps as possible.

The RX men's division was captured by CrossFit Lewes teammates Mark Moore and Johnny Cristaldi; the RX women's division champions were Ali Peet and Michelle Kargbo, and Mike Flemning and Meg Lawson captured the RX coed title by winning all three RX categories.

CrossFit Lewes secured the Delaware Affiliate Cup. CrossFit Lewes owner Kris Carper said the event drew a much larger turnout than the first challenge the firm hosted a couple of years ago.
