Mary Wilcher-Smith, memorial service set

Mary Wilcher-Smith passed peacefully Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes.
She leaves her daughters Gwen Ballen and Barbara Johnson, as well her son John Ballen and son-in-law Otis Blackburn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lenwood T. Duke Smith.
A memorial service honoring her life is being held at Harmony United Methodist Church, 27270 John J. Williams Highway (Route 24) Millsboro, Saturday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m.
