LET THEM EAT STEAK

They’re back!  This week Hillary was playing center stage in Iowa with Bill at her side.  Not for the BIG STAKES, just for STEAK, so she claimed.

Wait a minute, what’s Bill going to eat?  He doesn’t eat meat. Bill’s a publically proclaimed Plant-Based Eater—all fruits, vegetables, beans and grains, no meat, no dairy, no poultry, no fish (well, almost none)—remember his 2010 interview with Wolfe Blitzer on CNN when he was joined by T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D., author of THE CHINA STUDY, Dean Ornish, M.D., and Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D.?  With the guidance of these giants in nutrition and medicine, Bill lost significant weight for Chelsea’s wedding and reversed his heart disease by changing his diet.  So did I, and so did many others, because of his powerful example.

What about Hillary?  If she wants stamina for grandparenting, she needs her veggies and fruits, beans and grains.  If she wants to pursue the presidency, she’ll need steak alright, CAULIFLOWER STEAK with a side of CHERRY TOMATO CHUTNEY and SWEET POTATOES (see the new PREVENT AND REVERSE HEART DISEASE COOKBOOK by Ann Crile Esselstyn and Jane Esselstyn).

So let them eat steak, cauliflower steak, and let them tell the world how healthful, easy and delicious it is.  Then we will all be winners!
