Frances 'June' Voit, retired teacher

Frances "June" Voit, 85, of Milton, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 21, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilmot and Frances (Burke) Frech.

Mrs. Voit received a bachelor's degree from Wilmington University and would venture on a lifelong career as a teacher. She was an avid reader who also loved caring for animals. Mrs. Voit was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Voit was preceded in death by her husband, Albin Voit; and her son, Christopher Voit. She is survived by her five children: Gregory Voit, Andrea McDonald, Tracy Furjanic, Teresa Arvidson and Elizabeth Voit; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
