Planet Depos appoints new senior trial consultant

Planet Depos LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based global court reporting company providing best-in-class court reporting, interpretation, and trial support services, recently announced that Derek Cole of Lewes has joined the company as senior trial consultant.

Cole will provide Planet Depos a Delaware presence to better serve Delaware law firms and attorneys, and for out-of-state clients for which the firm serves as local counsel, a presence in Delaware’s Court of Chancery, renowned worldwide as the pre-eminent forum for corporate matters, as well as in U.S.  District Court in Wilmington  and throughout the United States.

With more than 15 years of experience, both in-house at an AmLaw 100 Law Firm, and as a senior trial consultant with an outside consulting firm, Cole has supported in excess of 100 trials. He has worked personally with attorneys, litigation support project managers, and other legal professionals, as well as directly with law firm clients to determine the logistic, graphic and technical requirements of trial to assist attorneys in clearly conveying their cases to judges and juries.

His vast experience as a trial consultant is well grounded in his studies of design at Ball State University, as well as extensive professional experience in the area of graphic design, database/application development, and PC hardware and application support.
