Prugallo announces Lee Ann Wilkinson Group staff changes
Prudential Gallo, Realtors will observe the retirement in late November of Linda Quigley, settlement coordinator for the Lee Ann Wilkinson Group since 1996. At the same time, the company welcomes Realtor Michelle Huff, who will take over Quigley’s duties.
Quigley, who has held a real estate license for 30 years, has enjoyed her career in making sure that the transactions are completed smoothly and that customers receive the best possible service. She describes her job as “needing to be on top of every detail all the time.”
Changes in recent lending practices and appraisal procedures have added an extra dimension to her problem-solving. But Quigley finds the sale process a satisfying challenge. She calculates that during her career, she has been involved in more than 2,390 transactions.
“I can honestly say that I have really enjoyed not only working with Lee Ann Wilkinson, the number-one Realtor in Sussex County, but with all of our clients, my Prudential Gallo co-workers, lawyers and their staff members, and bank representatives,” Quigley said. “And while the idea of retiring can be difficult at times, knowing that such a capable person as Michelle is taking over gives me peace of mind.”
“I will definitely miss Lee Ann and our wonderful group, so retirement is bittersweet,” she continued, “but I have so many things that I am really looking forward to doing. Spending time with family and friends, exercising more, pursuing hobbies, and taking advantage of the activities that Sussex County offers. ‘Boredom’ is not in my vocabulary!”
Huff has been working side-by-side with Quigley for a month, shadowing her to learn the details of transactions in progress. Huff, who previously worked for Prugallo for five years in the Lewes Rental Department, is enjoying her new position.
“I have had my real estate license since 1989 and have experience in both sales and rentals,” she said, “but this part of the process is exactly what I enjoy. I’m excited to deal with challenges and to complete the sale.”
“I enjoy work that is detail-oriented and requires follow-up,” she continued, “especially when the outcome is so important for our clients. I look forward to the many transactions that are coming in the near future.”
“We are very lucky to have worked with Linda for so many years,” said Sandy Wright, sales manager and broker of the Lewes office of Prugallo. “Her skills and demeanor have made her a real team player.”
“Linda has been my ‘right arm’ for the past 14 years, and she will be sorely missed,” Lee Ann Wilkinson observed. “However, I have great confidence in Michelle and I’m sure our clients and customers will continue to receive the best service in the area. We all wish Linda the wonderful retirement that she deserves.”
