Mildred J. Frazer, Burton Realty retiree
Mildred J. Frazer, 86, of Long Neck, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
She was born in Cape Charles, Va. and later moved to Wilmington. She was a graduate of P.S. DuPont High School in 1947. Millie worked at DuPont in her earlier years and later worked for attorney Piet Van Ogtrop in Newark for many years. After moving to Long Neck she worked for Burton Realty. Millie enjoyed spending the winters in Marco Island, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Frazer in 2011; and survived by her son, Richard M. Frazer and daughter-in-law Gay Frazer; daughter Gay F. Light and her husband Mick; and daughter Sherl Buckingham. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Melanie Frazer, Richard G. Frazer II, and his fiancée, Kylie Melvin, Nikki Hudak and her husband Dave, Merissa Ramos and her husband Louis, Magen Frazer and Michael Light; and three great-grandchildren, Makayla Ramos, Logan and Cameron Hudak.
Friends may call Thursday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to noon, at Melson Funeral Home, 32013 Long Neck Road, Long Neck, where a service will be held at noon. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetary, 26660 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Delaware at 1 p.m.
