Beebe streamlines bills with new online payment system

Beebe Medical Center is offering an online payment program using ePayments and eStatements. Introduced in October, the program already has been used by more than 1,800 patients.

“The goal is to make bill paying easier and more efficient for our patients, their families and their caregivers,” said Sharon Kesterson, director of Patient Business Services. “This online, electronic system not only makes it easier to pay a bill, but it makes it easier to receive and review billing statements.”

The ePayments and eStatements can be accessed at mybeebe.org. Consumers simply click on the link “Pay Bill Online” on the top right side of the website and follow simple directions to pay a single bill or to enroll in the program so they can access their statements.

The secure program can be used anytime during the day or night. It avoids payments being late or lost in the mail. It also creates an accurate and easily accessible payment record for patients.

“Online statements are the future, and the future is here. We see them being used in so many others areas,” said Kesterson. “We are happy to be able to bring this convenient and confidential program to our patients, whether they live in the community or they have traveled here from outside of the area to obtain health services.”
