The Cape boys' soccer team extended its win streak to three games with a 6-0 shutout of the Seaford Blue Jays Sept. 15 at Legends Stadium.
Seniors Steven Matalavage and Drew Mulcahy and sophomore Zack Gelof booted two goals each to lead the Vikings. Jack Ashby and Ambrose Hochrein tallied two assists while seniors Tyler Malloy and Jason Garcia each had a helper.
The Vikings outshot the Blue Jays 24-4. Cape goalkeepers Brent Hochrein and Noah Clifton teamed to save four Seaford shots. Seaford freshman keeper Cory Derohn made 18 saves for the Jays.
