Anyone interested in healthcare research is invited to attend Bayhealth’s 15th Annual Nursing Research Conference. The theme of this year’s conference is “Harvesting Knowledge Through Research & Evidence-Based Practice.” It will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus in the PCOM Simulation Center Conference Room and virtually through Webex.
The conference will feature various research findings presentations, a poster breakout session and multiple keynote speaker addresses. In addition to being a unique learning and networking opportunity, nurses are eligible to receive 3.5 contact hours by attending the conference in full.
This year’s keynote speakers are Nursing Professional Development Specialists for Patient & Family Health Education at ChristianaCare Kristen Callaghan, MSN, RN, MedSurg-BC, NPD-BC, CUA, and Amanda Joie, MSN, RN, CV-BC, NPD-BC, and the Director of Patient & Family Health Education/Nursing Professional Development at ChristianaCare Greg O’Neill, MSN, APRN, AGCNS-BC, NPD-BC.
The conference is free to all Bayhealth team members and nursing students. The fee for all other attendees is $40. The registration deadline is Nov. 22.
