Annette Lewis, a resident of Harbor Healthcare in Lewes, celebrated her 103rd birthday March 25.
Born in New York City, Lewis was the oldest of three children. She lived in New York State until moving to Delaware in 2011.
Annette worked as a secretary at a variety of companies. For 60 years, she was married to Frank Lewis, who also was a resident at Harbor Healthcare. They never had any children.
She enjoys singing and took opera lessons and was really very good. She was 42 years old before getting her driver’s license.
Her sister Mary, who lived to be 101, lived her last years with Annette at Harbor Healthcare. She also had a brother who lived to be 94.
